I am Finnish Artist, living in London.

I am also an professional Opera Singer.

Both forms of art are equally important to me, and they give me different things.

I have educated my self to music and arts since my childhood.

I love my flowers, they are passing moments in human life,

like my paintings are just passing moments of my memories and life.

I have chosen not to paint any other living creatures to my paintings except flowers. Idea links to globalisation and genetically modified plants, and worryingly dying bees and our planets wellbeing.

Flowers look almost lonely without their bees and other insects.

One way of thinking my paintings can be also that under thick layers of foliage and flowers you can find un known little world.
Idea feels almost little uncomfortable; who would like to put their hand through folliage, not knowing what is in there. Depending on viewer you find hidden messages and ideas and can feel different feelings, also happiness. They allow you to stop on front of them, to feel like you are in little oasis of calmness and happy thoughts before you return to real world.

My inspiration is mainly my memories and many of them links to my Grandmothers "Mamma´s" garden which she so lovingly cared. Summer in Finland is very short but as days are so long everything is blooming amazingly in short period of time. My dear "Mamma" was creating display of flowers that has etched to my memory eternally.

I create now my own garden by painting it, I think so many of us lives in cities that we deserve that little moment of secret garden to our lives. It is stress relief, inspiration and it has calming and it can comfort us when we need it.

These flowers are necessarily not painted accurately to what they are in real life, more important than accuracy for me has been effect, and I have wanted to create an effect to describe my own idea and memory or imagination.
